Studies show tocotrienols have greater antioxidant activity in certain fatty cell membranes and in areas of the brain and heart.

Alpha lipoic acid is fat and water soluble, allowing movement in and out of cell structures, and interacts with vitamin C and E to enhance free radical scavenging.

Lycopene is the carotenoid most often linked with prostate health, and is also a powerful antioxidant.

• Vitamin E tocotrienols are naturally derived from palm oil, rice bran and wheat germ oil. Their unique molecular structure allows them to scavenge free radicals within circulating lipoproteins even more efficiently than vitamin E tocopherols.

• Alpha lipoic acid is called the universal antioxidant because it’s both fat- and water-soluble. This property allows it to penetrate every portion of the cell in the fight against free radicals.

An exciting, powerful antioxidant, it also has a synergistic effect on antioxidant vitamins C and E.

• Lycopene, a carotenoid, gives red fruits and vegetables their deep red color. NSP uses lycopene from tomatoes for its powerful antioxidant properties. Its long-chain molecular structure is more effective at quenching free radicals than any other carotenoid.

It has also been linked to promoting optimal prostate function in men.

• Rose hips are a natural source of vitamin C, carotenoids and flavonoids. Milk thistle contains silymarin, which protects the liver from damaging toxins.

• Turmeric contains curcumin, which also protects liver tissue and may support healthy cholesterol levels in the body.
