The
world has come to know this yellow-flowered herb for its wonderful benefits
to the nervous system, specifically for help with mild to moderate depression.
Benefits:
Millions in Europe have felt its helpful effects. But millions of Americansan estimated 15 millionwho have symptoms of being down in the dumps at any given time, may realize the potential of this natural supplement. Now you can experience the added advantage of time-released technology and guaranteed levels of two important active constituents in NSPs new Time-Release St. Johns Wort. Wort comes from an Old English word meaning plant or root. This plant is named for St. John, the Baptist. It has long been popular for replenishing the nervous system, especially when the brain seems depleted or when the nervous system is out of balance. NSP combines St. Johns wort with passion flower, an herb with a long history of nervous system support. St. Johns Wort contains at least 10 pharmacologically active constituents. Numerous studies show that one of these, hypericin, appears to act similar to MAO inhibitors and serotonin-reuptake inhibitors, elevating mood and acting as a mild sedative. Recent scientific studies have shown that another constituent, hyperforin, may have more powerful mood enhancing, spirit-lifting properties. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in 1998 showed that patients who received the highest amounts of hyperforin-containing St. Johns Wort scored highest on the Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (a high score on the rating scale indicates lower levels of depression). Time-Release St. Johns Wort contains the finest raw St. Johns Wort herb, standardized to contain hyperforin (3.0 percent) and hypericin (0.2 percent) in a base of 450 mg St. Johns Wort extract powder. This
NSP product provides the active constituents you want with standardized
