The leaves of the red raspberry plant are rich in iron, manganese and niacin. They also contain valuable amounts of vitamins A and C, calcium, magnesium and selenium.

Women have used red raspberry leaves for centuries to support the female reproductive system, especially during pregnancy.

Red raspberry leaves contain high levels of tannins and fruit acids making this herb a popular astringent. Astringents tighten and tone tissues. As such, this herb supports the body during heavy menstrual bleeding, diarrhea, flu or vomiting.
