Nervous Fatigue Formula is an herbal combination that the Chinese would consider a fire enhancing formula. Its Chinese name, yang xin, means to nurture the heart.

Weakness in the fire element usually manifests itself as digestive weakness, cardiovascular problems or sexual dysfunction. This formula helps relieve heart stress and helps normalize and improve digestion and sleep.

Known as Yang Xin by Chinese herbalists, Nervous Fatigue Formula strengthens the body’s ability to respond to forces and agents that otherwise weaken it.

Nervous Fatigue Formula combines 18 herbs that support the nervous and circulatory systems. Biota seed contains aromatic compounds that have a sedative effect.

These compounds also have a mild laxative effect. Biota has been used to treat heart palpitation, insomnia, debility and constipation.

Zizyphus contains bitter compounds that help relieve pain, reduce fever and lower blood pressure. It has been used to treat nervous tension.

Schizandra, a supporting herb in this formula, allows the body to respond quickly to stress, thus increasing the body’s capacity to work. Its bitter compounds also increase blood circulation and blood sugar levels while lowering blood pressure.

Siberian ginseng also contains bitter compounds that increase the production of DNA, RNA and proteins essential to all life processes.

Nervous Fatigue Formula also contains cistanche herb, succinum resin, cuscuta seed, acorus root, ophiopogon root, rehmannia root, dong quai root, lycium fruit, polygala root, dioscorea root, lotus seed, astragalus root, hoelen herb and polygonatum root.
