Thirty percent of gray matter in the brain is DHA (docosahexaenoic acid)—an essential fatty acid. DHA is vital to brain development and maintenance. It can only be obtained through the diet or with supplementation.

Supplementation with NSP DHA can help maintain the brain and support the entire nervous system. It can also benefit ocular health by improving the integrity of retinal cell membranes. Our DHA contains lemon oil to significantly reduce the aftertaste from fish oil.

DHA is a fatty acid that is absorbed into the fatty perimeter of cells. There it exerts its biochemical properties. DHA is highly concentrated in the brain and retinal neural tissues. It is required for brain development and important in maintaining and protecting the neural
tissues.

Researchers have found a correlation between high levels of dietary DHA and the development of cognitive skills in children. In adults, DHA may help support brain tissue health. Research has shown that daily dietary DHA intake is lowest among women in the United States compared to women in Europe or Japan.

Omega-3 is a natural triglyceride fish lipid concentrate rich in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These fatty acids are not produced by the body and can only be obtained through the diet. Omega-3 contains triglycerides from the flesh of cold water fish such as salmon and mackerel.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:

Take one capsule with a meal three times daily. REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING.
